CHAPTER-2:Membership

6. Qualification for Membership :

1. Any Dalit associations registered under the Association Registration Act, 2034 B.S. (1978 A.D.) and working as social associations may be the members of this Federation. Provided that, the associations willing to be affiliated shall have to be renewed at least once with the District Administration Office.
2. The member associations shall have to be in line with the objective of the Federation.
3. The member associations shall have not to be a sister organization of any political party or a propagator of any religion.
4. The member associations shall have to remain under the recovalues and conduct of non governmental organizations of Nepal .
5. The member associations shall have to renew its member organizations every year.
6. Notwithstanding any thing contained in clause (a) to (e) of Section 6, honorary membership may be awarded to such non-Dalit association whose work is focused on the right and interest of Dalits.

2.Conditions for the Termination of Membership :

The membership shall be terminated in the following conditions:-

1. If the official registration is not valid.
2. If an authentic information is given by the member associations itself wishing not to be affiliated with the Federation.
3. If a work is done in contrary to the Statue of the Federation.
4. If the membership is not renewed in accordance with the statue of the Federation.
5. Notwithstanding any thing contained in clause (a) to (d) of this Section, any associations terminated from membership for not renewing the membership may renew its membership by paying double fee within three months from the date of expiry.

8.Types of Membership :

There shall be four types of membership as follows:-

1. Preliminary members : The member associations shall be preliminary members within one year from the date of affiliation with the Federation.
2. Ordinary members : All the associations, which have obtained membership of the Federation by having qualification under Section 6, shall be the ordinary members of this Federation.
3. Honarary membership : The associations under clause (f) of Section 6 and the associations providing direct contribution to this Federation may obtain honarary membership as per the decision of the Federation, if they wish so.
4. •  Life Membership : The founder members of this foundation shall remain as life members.

9.Membership Fee :

1. This Federation shall award membership to all associations having qualification under Section 7 by charging Rs. 500/- as annual fee.
2. The membership shall be renewed every year by charging Rs. 500/- from the member associations.
3. The fee for the honorary membership shall be Rs. 5,000/-
