Vacancy Announcements: District Coordinator and Accountant

Vacancy Announcements

The Dalit NGO Federation (DNF) is an umbrella organization dedicated to establishing Dalit Rights. It has around 300 member organizations and presence in more than 60 districts in the country. DNF in partnership of VSO Nepal has recently launched the EU funded project "Promoting Quality and Inclusive Education for Out of Reach Children in Nepal" in the Kailali district from Far western development region of Nepal. The project aims to improve the quality and inclusion of education for out of reach children from the most marginalised and disadvantage community in the district.DNF is looking for committed project staff for the following district based position.

 

1)      District Coordinator

 

·         Liaise the district level stakeholders (DEO, Schools and SMCs, COs and other government agencies) in implementing project activities.

·         Responsible planning, implementation  and monitoring of the project activities

·         Responsible for timely submission of related reports of the project to the partner through DNF central office.

 

Skills and Experience

 

Minimum requirement Bachelor's degree in Education or any related field. Must have a minimum of 3 year's work experience in a relevant area. Experience in working on education sectors and district line agencies of GO will be additional advantage

 

2)      Accountant

 

·         Responsible for overall financial management of the project

·         Ensure day to day office operation and logistic arrangement

·         Assist in the planning, implementation and monitoring and project related activities as required.

 

Skills and Experience

 

Minimum requirement Intermediate's degree in commerce .Must have a minimum of 3 year's work experience in a relevant area.Experiece in working with different projects managing financial obligation  will be additional advantage.
